There are a variety of very good advantages to the sell and rent back scheme, but it simply depends on if it suits you and your own personal circumstances and situation.

We have found many of our clients no longer wanted the stress and worries of constantly changing interest rates, bust and boom property markets and the down turns in the general economy.

Some of our older clients just simply couldn’t handle the pressure or stress of constantly having to remortgage every year or two, just to place them in a position of having a discounted mortgage deal.

For whatever reason, some wanted it for divorce, financial difficulties, have cash for a better retirement, business reasons, unemployment reasons, wanted to sell knowing they were going to relocate, etc, etc… without having to move from their home.

There can’t be anything worse than the possibility of losing your home, sometimes being in this position through no fault of your own, leaving you in a position where you have to sell your home and you have to sell it fast, but you don’t want to move. Then maybe the only solution that is available to you is the sell-and-rent-back solution.

It may not be the ideal solution but it is a solution, where you can keep your home, get back on your feet and remember that some companies will happily allow you to purchase your home back.
