What is the demand for your property?

Check your area for the demand of your property and see if there are any properties similar or exactly the same as yours currently on the market. Check the local paper, estate agents windows and the internet i.e. rightmove.co.uk.

Once you have done this research you will have a better understanding of your competition. It is also an idea to arrange a viewing on 1 or 2 of the competition to see what you are up against but please remember not to view too many as you may upset the estate agents and owners.

You will have a good idea of the value at this point as well from all the research you have done.
