Facing repossession

What should you do if you have a court hearing regarding a repossession notice?

If you have received a repossession notice from the court there are two things you need to do.

1. Make sure that you attend the court hearing, ensure that you are smartly dressed and on time, arm yourself with any correspondence between you and your bank/building society.

2. Contact Quick Purchase and explain your situation, preferably before your court hearing. We will take relevant information from you and make you a no obligation cash offer to purchase your property. If an offer is agreed between you and Quick Purchase, you will be able to go to court with a copy of the exchange contracts, which both parties would have signed, and present this to the judge.

Do you know what the repossession procedure is and how it works?

Please read our article on ‘repossession process’ which guides you through the repossession process.

Should you get legal representation?

We would advise you to seek legal representation before going to the court hearing.
