Make sure you avoid being repossessed
Being repossessed is becomeing the harsh reality for many homeowner in 2009. Latest research has shown that many people in the UK are spending sleepless nights worrying about job losses and repossessions.
The Council of Mortgage Lenders (CML) estimations suggest that in 2009 as many as 75,000 homeowners could face being repossessed. 35,000 more than the figure in 2008.
The government backed mortgage help scheme could help up to 9,000 families, but that won't cover all the 75000 homeowners at risk. There is a more widespread fear of repossession and many could actually face. Probably many more than the government can help.
